i found a 96 850 wagon with a 5 speed. i would rather have an automatic (for the wife) but i will consider the 5 speed. are these rare? should i stay away from them for a reason? thanks

If you mean a T5 engine with manual tranny, yeah..they are pretty rare. If you get lucky, you can always find one from Canada.

no unfortunatly it is just an 850. i don't think it is even a glt.

My 855 is auto, but I was considering trading up for a 5 speed a while ago. I was talked out of it because the re-sale is way worse on the 5 speed. The majority of people looking for these cars want the automatic. I prefer the standard, but will maintain my automatic until lease expires.
