Daily driver, exhaust system is new from manifold to tailpipe and done correctly! It has a newer engine that was installed before I purchased it, only 121,000 miles and runs great. The '70 model comes with 4 wheel disc brakes and generally had fuel injection, however some genius decided to modify it to duel Webber carbs and put in a manual choke in the cab. Mind you there is nothing wrong with that, just would not have been my choice. I have replaced the interior carpet and front seats. The seats are racing style Recaro-ish knock-offs, quite comfortable and they are fitted with 3 point racing harnesses they are much nicer than the crappy lap belts these cars are equipment with. The rear back part of the seat is covered up but needs to be dyed or reupholstered it is tan in color but in good shape. The bottom is black leather. I have a AM/FM CD player with 4 speakers in it that sounds quite nice. Dash could use a bit of love but gages all seem to work fine except the clock and none of those work on these models (1st to go). A dash cap would spruce it up quick and cheap. Upper door panels are new and the other panels are in pretty good condition. Mechanically it is very sound and if your in the Los Angeles area, I can recommend a good shop that specializes in these cars (my mechanic). I have had a lot of stuff taken care of and done a fair amount of work to start to get this baby on the way to perfect, but there are a lot of small things on a car this old. There is a sunroof that was not installed so well, I had a plan to put a moonroof in (I have a resource for that) or when ready, a new sunroof could be slid in very easily to replace this one (the sunroof was there when i got it). The body....paint looks good but honestly it's an OK paint job. To the general public, it's great but there are some spots that were not prepared that well to a more trained eye. As far as rust, it is in great shape from what I have seen, a small rust bump on the bottom can been seen when you get down on your knees and look (or if it's up on a lift) perhaps 2 inches: fairly minor. The trunk and floorboards appear to be free from rust. Window seals could use replacing at some point though it is not urgent. I am disclosing all I know about this car the good and bad so the buyer has a fair and accurate idea of it's condition. Again, I love this car (waited 20 years to buy one) and would not sell it unless I had to,....unfortunately for me, I do. I will answer any questions you may have and have more pictures if requested. $6500.00 OBO (over $8500 in work and reciepts including my purchase price). Ready to be taken to the next level. I'm in culver City, CA
http://losangeles.craigslist.o....html
