I’m selling my very rare 99 C-70 coupe with 112k miles. Car drives and shifts very well, engine and transmission have lots of life left. Lots of new parts and preventative maintenance done, mechanically the car is in great shape and has tons of power. However there is an issue with the VGLA/immobilizer modules which I will explain. You will not find another coupe this year with this low mileage. Body has few minor dents and scratches but the frame is in perfect condition and much of the undercarriage still has the factory coating on it.
The Pros
Brand new IPD 3inch downpipe stainless steel turbo back exhaust- sounds incredible
New starter
New ignition switch
New abs module
New B+ battery cable
New negative battery cable
New fuel filter
New oxygen sensors
Recent oil change with liqui-moly
New transmission fluid and coolant
Timing Belt, serpentine belt, alternator, spark plugs, brake pads, PCV cleaning done @100k

I’ve had this vehicle scanned with Volvo proprietary scanner and there is an issue with the VGLA and immobilizer modules. I assume these modules can be fixed/resoldered or bypassed. The vehicles drive-ability has not been affected.
However since the module stopped working properly the drivers door stopped receiving power and none the switches on the door work which has caused the following problems
-no power windows
-trunk won’t open
-no power locks
-no interior lights
-no sunroof

The only mechanical issue with the car is the front passenger side ABS tone ring is missing some teeth which gives the ABS sensor a false reading and causes the ABS to occasionally lightly pulsate. It’s an easy cheap fix.
