hey guys
i'm graduating from college in two weeks and getting a job that requires a lot of driving around the ocean state. although my 244 DL has done me well the past few years i want to get something with an extra cylinder in there. the 6 cylinder is too much of a gas hog. any reccomendations, the 60 is still out of reach for me.

there are plenty of 850s out there that will fit most budgest or if you want to splurge a bit, you can get decent S70s for mid- to low $10Ks...

There are a lot of used 850's running around out there in all price ranges, so you have a big choice. I think that a blue 850 N/A or Turbo with some Titan wheels & tinted windows would look sweet and different.

Hey man, I've actually decided to sell my 850R. Right now it's stock with 240hp getting no less than 21mpg, but usually closer to 23+. Shoot me an email if you want some more info. Asking price would be around $16,500.

Even if you don't go with my car, the R is definitely the way to go, or at least an 850/S70.

No joke here man, go for an R, either a 1995 T-5R (the original) or a 1996/97 850R they're pretty great, and a totally different experience than the normal T5's.

In that sense, the difference would be the interior (Leather/Alcentra seats, wood standard, etc)

go to my website FAQ's for tech. specs on all T5 variants. 850R is best of 850 series!-bigger turbo and stronger internals than the T5R; but T5R more collectable.
