Just found out that #48 hit the port, they are saying 7-10 days and I can pick up! Will get pics as soon as I can.

Went and signed all my paperwork. It is all paid for and should be here this week. Have the BBS wheels on order and should be here soon. Got to meet the owner and his wife. They were nice enough to show me her S60 P* she just got. So excited I can't sleep. What a great and unique buying experience.
When you get it, you still won't be able to sleep. All you will want to do is drive it, and hear that sexy exhaust rumble.

So I am picking the car up tomorrow afternoon. I cancelled my BBS order and am going to get the P* winter set up based on the rubbing issues. Was quoted 3900 I think. 2 quick questions: the owner of the dealer warned me that his other P* came with 70 miles on it because they have to drive it from the factory he said. Does this line up with anyone else? When I went to insure the car on my existing policy they couldn't find the Polestar option (no surprise). I answered all of their questions honestly but they weren't able to accurately categorize it based on the VIN. Did anyone else have this issue? Should I be concerned? Thanks for all the help!
My P* came with 17 miles and it took a while for the DMV to get my VIN registered. The insurance initially used a base model to get me started. Later the premium was raised about $7/month when the VIN appeared in the DMV. I suspect they classified it as a R-Design model. 
Hey Mike, just down the road from you in Portland. Mine came with 60ish miles as well..... No on was quite sure why, but it was clearly factory wrapped when arrived at dealer. #2, yes my insurance co had trouble inputting VIN as well, but refreshed their database and all worked out fine. Happy driving, I'm about a month in and loving it...... FYI, I know my weather Slightly more mild than yours, but not that much in Pdx, and I am not buying winter wheel set up,as i don't drive this car to the mountain. I have been driving in cold wet weather with factory set up, and no issues at all, in fact amazing.

JD - thanks so much for the info. I am so torn on the winter wheel thing. Yes I ski, but can arrange to take my wife's Expedition up to the mountains. Not sure I even want to expose the P* to that environment. My issue is that I have to be able to get to work through any weather and when I do that I still need my wife to have a snow capable vehicle so she isn't stuck at home for 24 hours. I debated all-weathers like I had on my Subaru but decided the width would make snow performance marginal at best and would hamper summer performance. Why upgrade to a P* and then hamstring it with bad rubber? So that leads to a second set of wheels and tires. I debated the autosock solution but decided this was going to be the bulletproof way to make sure I can get around. I think Madden is in the same boat as me but hasn't pulled the trigger on a setup. Pretty sure the P* with the winter setup will destroy my wife's Expedition in the snow unless it gets deep. But again, thanks for the help!

When I registered my V60RD, the DMV clerk asked if it was a V60 or V60P. Thought that was interesting.

Same insurance problems for 47, still recognized as RD-Plat.
Delivered from Salt Lake to Portland with 31 miles. I can echo jdhawes with my non winter setup down in Corvallis, no issues with the wet/cold weather we've had this far. Trips to the mountains will just be handled by the AWD SUV for us...

I asked my insurance agent if I would get any discount for BLIS and City Safe, I did not. She said the insurance industry is lagging on picking up on all the new technology. Interestingly enough the V60P was cheaper to insure than my previous Acura, even though they put the V60P in the sports car category.
I have yet to pull the plug on a winter wheel set-up, I'm not sure I need one in Seattle. It's been a pretty mild winter so far. If Tire Rack had the O.Z. Superismo in graphite in stock, I might have pulled the plug, but they won't have any in stock til 3/15.
I'm not really worried about rubbing since I'll probably have the rear fenders rolled if I get a winter set-up that is not Polestars. There's a place in Magnolia, Group 2 Motorsports that's set-up to roll fenders, no I'm not going to do it myself with a base ball bat.

Well I got it! First the bad: the sensus activation was awful. Think it was a combination of my sales rep and Volvo.
The good? Everything else. The car is intoxicating, absolutely intoxicating. Got all weather mats, next up winter wheels and led lighting. Thank you to the board, what a resource!
