if you run 3" from the downpipe back, including a 3" high flow cat, will the computer through a CE code for the 2nd O2 sensor?

woohoo!
im heading down to the local custom exhaust shop in a few hours, and i originally was going to just remove the resonator, but after thinking about it, i convinced myself to just do a whole re-pipe with 3"... But I don't want to see a CE light sitting on my dash all the time.
Matt,
It's not as simple as just having a custom downpipe with race-cat made. You may/may not set off the CEL, depending on the type of cat they use. Our Ekocat catalytic converters do not affect the Volvo emissions system, but other catalytic converters might. Just something to be aware of.

Re: (George @ ViVA)

(btw, no downpipe is being made. stock DP is staying in-tact.)
in the event that this cat would affect the emissions, is that 2nd emissions o2 sensor enough to trigger a limp mode?

Re: (phuz)

Cat back, you should be fine (If not deaf, it will be pretty loud and annoying IMO)

Re: 3" exhaust, including CAT...emission problems? (phuz)

You can run almost anything from the catback and not have an emissons problem but you could create a noise problem that is a citable offense at least here in Cali.

Can you buy an ekocat cat from VIVA and have it welded in by your local shop or is it just as easy to use one of their hi-flow cats? Do our cars have an o2 sensor after the cat or only before? I'm thinking of doing a 3" DP and exhaust, I just don't like the prices I've seen. I would think a local custom shop could do it for cheaper.
