I saw a post where someone confirmed you can fit the new gen XC90 wheels on 1st gen XC60, I've seen some sets of wheels and tires going on eBay and I guess most factory tires for the xc90 are 275/45/20? Can these tires fit the 1st Gen XC60? Or are they too wide?

They fit perfect.

I've been running that size for years.
What wheels are you running, Ocean Racer? I have an XC60 RD and have wondered about filling out the wheel wells, as even with the RD suspension and wheels there is still considerable fender gap AND a dearth of width to be filled if one was so inclined to do so.

With XC90 rims, the tires are 3mm closer to the suspension/brake components, are 37mm closer to the outside fender liner, and are 9mm taller than OEM 235/60R18 tires that may have come on your 2010 XC60. Even if your XC60 is lowered, the 275/45R20 tire/wheel setup should not present a problem. The only exception would be if you bottomed out the suspension. Then, I think you would get tire rub on the fender/fender liner.

The factory XC90 running 275s I believe are 9" wide in various wheel heights 20-21-22"?

Would love to run something newer like the XC90 Black Diamond Cut 20x9" take offs. I am not sure those would fit without rubbing though unless someone here has tried them on a XC60.

They fit perfect.

I've been running that size for years.

Will this 275/45/20 tire fit questions:

I am assuming your rims are the factory Cratus 20x8" running 275/45/20 on 8's?

Standard 20" R design wheels

Fit on the 2015+ XC60 20x8s with no rubbing?
Does the 275/45 on 8" rims have noticeable sidewall movement in corners?

Thanks in advance. :)

PS: 265/45/20 fitment on XC60 20x8's:

The 275/45r20 wheels tyre combo won't rub on any xc60. Im running Heico suspension which is 5cm lower than stock and they still no where near rubbing.

They're stiff and very responsive.

Many thanks Ocean Racer. :)

The 275/45/20 will be my future replacements on my 20x8s.
