Re: 2500 miles and got a bubble on my tire!!!! (mister2cool)

What tire pressures are you running? Anything less than 35psi is asking for trouble and even at this pressure, watch those potholes.

Yesterday when I bought the car they offered me a tire/wheel warranty of 3/yr for $300. Maybe I should have bought it. I assume the warranty would take care of any bubbles. Currently I have the Pirelli warranty for tires.

Re: 2500 miles and got a bubble on my tire!!!! (lowbumpeR)

I've bubbled a total of 5 in 68K mile including three on PS2s and I run 39psi. I guess that is what happens with driving into NYC a couple of times a week. Almost went to 17" but just couldn't do it - 4 new PS2s being mounted and balanced as we "speak". Can't wait to get them back on.... Just washed/debugged/clay barred/Klasse wax/carnuba on top and it was like a mirror BUT looked funny with the snows....

P-Zero Nero M&S All Seasons would have been a much better choice in tire for the car for Volvo. I'm loving them. No issues. Great grip, low noise. Why a company that makes cars in a country covered in snow and ice a lot of the year put 3-season tires on this car baffles me. The tires are actually illegal to drive on in Sweden in the winter. I did OSD and tried to get All Seasons swapped at the factory and they wouldn't do it.

I'd say the P-Zero Nero M&S are second to only the Michelin PS series tires, but considerably less money. Get Michelins if you want the best but your going to pay for it. Everyone got their opinion on tires but they will all agree the Rossos suck.

Re: 2500 miles and got a bubble on my tire!!!! (jazee)

I have owned 2 sets of the M&S P-zeros and they are a good tire. The one thing I noticed is the howling from the tire being "cupped" after 4,000 miles on both sets. There was still plenty of tread left (1/2) but the noise was terrible on both sets after that mileage marker.
