Has anyone ever tried running this size? It's within 1.2% of stock size, just slightly larger in diameter. I'm considering going to this size to provide a little more rim protection.

Worst case is you get a little rubbing up front, but that can be fixed with spacers. Not sure if anyone has run 245 on their S60's.

If you change the aspect ratio of the tire, your speedometer and odometer will be off to some degree. You'd have to drop to 17's to keep it right.

Sure, only changing it from 60mph to 60.7mph. More concerned about rubbing.

Speedometers and tachometers are always slightly off anyways... It won't make a noticeable difference.

Jaron was running 245/35/19s on his car without any reported rubbing. Those should be within .16% of the 245/40/18 size.

Thanks, should work since it's less than 1/2" wider than stock.

Thanks, would love see pics of your car too. I checked your thread and the pics aren't showing up.
