Does anyone know if the 3rd (jump) seat from a 1990 245 can be installed into a 1986 245?

They should be the same. Make sure you get all the seat belts and such.

What about the fact that the 1990 has 2nd seat headrests and the 1986 has none? Does this change the installation?

To my knowledge no. We had a 3rd seat in our 1990 245 with headrests and it cleared the rear headrests just fine.
