What type of plug does the 240V charging cord have on the factory charging cord. We have the 240V outlet installed in the Garage for the new T8 and wanted to make sure we have the correct outlet.
Thanks.

In the US the T8 comes with the AeroVironment TurboCord dual voltage cable

Press release and cord photo:

Manufacturer's web site:

TurboCord:

This charging cable will connect to either a 120 VAC NEMA 5-15R receptacle or a 240 VAC NEMA 6-20R receptacle.

Check out the TurboCord v.1 YouTube video on the above product link.

NOTE: Volvo recommends plugging in the wall plug first and then connencting to the vehicle - which is NOT what you see in the video (where she plugs into the car first and then he plugs into the wall).

Best scenario would be one where the car's charging outlet was on its own circuit breaker.

You may also want to consider a charging station - which may be able to plug into the same receptacle you have in the garage. This would leave the TurboCord that came with the car in the car (for those times when you need / want to charge where there is no charging station but there is an outlet handy) - and you'd have a dedicated setup in the garage for your daily connection.
