Hi everyone, newbie here. Just got my Xc90 today. Came from a Durango RT with same spec wheels. Gotta have that concave look with the new car.

Anyone think this will fit, no rub? Swedish mod shop Lars K on Facebook put some ferradas on with these rim specs and wider 295 tires and he said no rub.

Please advise, thanks!

I am running 295/40/20 with no issues on low offset 20x10.5” concave rims.

Wunderwagen, thanks for your reply. Your car is one of the inspirations to go wide and concave. Do you know what offset your wheels are?

Wunderwagen, so I would be safe if I used same offset with 285 tires? I also saw that you have custom fender flares, did that give you more room or the same as stock flares.

Update!
Finally got them! Custom drilled Ferrada FR4 22x10.5 et40 with 5mm spacer 285/35/22 toyo Proxes STIII.

I learned that If you want to go 10.5 wide, you MUST have ET35 or less( meaning lower number). We test fit at ET40 without spacer and it hit suspension components.

Looking good! ... and pretty low! Are you using the Heico lowering module?

Had the same issue with my Vossen’s... no fitment for Volvo. But my local dealer California Wheels was able to have them custom drilled and with custom hub centric rings to fit.

How does it ride that low? In dynamic setting even the Heico module is a bit too firm on hard impacts.

Have you had any bottoming out on your suspension?

Coming from a Dodge Durango rt on 22s, it still feels nice with 22s and lowered. Obviously potholes and speed bumps are gonna give that cracking sensation if you go fast over them but overall it’s not bad.

Comfort mode

Dynamic/ Polestar mode.

Hi, do you think it's possible to go wider than 285/35? I'm not lowered and thinking about going with 305/40/22

I would say 295/35 is the widest on the offset I have. There is literally no room on suspension side unless you go even lower offset to move the wheel outwards .

That's too bad. Thank you for the information. Would you consider your setup right now as "flushed"?
