I personally have put 235s all around , but Evolve has put 235 40 18 and 265 35 18 on.. not sure if they had to roll fenders? hmm , with a 225 40 frt, have you concidered a 255 35 rear tire?

As long as it is a FWD, shouldn't cause any drivetrain issues (though the rear tires will have a greater rolling diameter). I would also recommend a big drag racer type wing on the back. After all, the rear end of a FWD car needs all the bite it can get.

Meaning that your ride height will be higher in the back thanks to a bigger tire section height.........ignoring the fact that wide rear tires on a FWD is pointless to begin with.
