Hey, I just bought a 2000 v70xc with the stock 15" wheels and 205/65/15 tires that are in desperate need of replacements. Love to go to 16"s and saw on Craigslist someone selling XC wheels from 2004 XC70 with the 215/65/16 tires. Besides the speedo being off a bit (used to that as all of my other cars have non oe wheels), is there any issue with putting that wheel/tire combo on?

thanks!

The bolt pattern is the same 5x108, offset is the same 43 mm IIRC. 215 is about the widest you can run, might have a hair of rub at full lock. You should be ok. 205 65 15 is the biggest for the 15's, for snows you want 195 65 15 for better contact pressure.

Great, this is what I was looking for. I have heard they may rub and didn't want to buy the whee/tire combo and then have to go buy 205/55/16 tires if they didn't fit.
