Re: 215/45/17? Is this the correct size for 17" pegs on a 850? (steve850)

I had a set of 215's on a set of Comets and they were fine.
Actually,I would have preffered 205's, the 215's were a little to balloon looking for me.

Steve,
Sorry I haven't gotten around to taking the pics for you. I have 215/45-17 BF Goodrich KDW2 tires on the Pegs, and they work pefectly fine on my 855R. I also have Eibach camber adjusters up front, and I could only adjust them to -1.5 degrees camber up front while still allowing just a tad for tire sidewall-to-strut clearance with this setup. The only other mod on the 855R is IPD front and rear bars. The car handles very well for a FWD platform -- much more neutral than stock and the negative camber up front REALLY helped.
The 215/45 fits the 8" rim just fine. I'm out of town at the moment, but will be back home shortly. I will get you a picture of the car/tires/wheels by this weekend. Here's the only one I currently have up on the web next to my old 2005 V70R, and you can't see much here:

The car handles real nicely for a FWD Volvo wagon. I may have said in another post but it has IPD front and rear sway bars, the Pegs and Eibach camber adjusters. With the Pegs and 215's, I could only adjust the front camber to -1.4 degrees which left just a tad bit of room between the tire sidewall and the front strut, but that 1.4 degrees of negative camber made a huge difference (stock is almost perfectly 0 degrees) in cornering performance.

Thanks for the input and the pics. I got 215/45/17 on and they are great looks perfect but are really easy to curb. This car has undergone a total makeover with the wheels, I will update with pics after i buff it out this weekend. Thanks again guys, I seriously love this place.
