I'm having serious issues with windshield pitting. The XC90 was purchased in November 2022 and has 2.5k miles on it. The windshield looks like it belongs on a car with at least 50k miles on it and was only driven behind a gravel truck. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a resolution?

I have a 2019 S60 that I bought off a relative with 54000 kms about 32000 mi. I know the car was driven 90% in the city. Driving into the sun it looks like it's been in a sand storm. Dealer thought it was excessive so sent pics to Volvo Canada. Still waiting to hear back. Service manager says it's Volvo"s call if they cover it. My last 2 cars with 5 times the milage were not this bad. I don't think it's pitting because when I blow up my pics they are all round opaque spots.

Spoke with a friend at a local body shop, his conclusion is that it's a defective windshield. Going to speak with the dealership about a replacement seeing that in a short time, if it continues to get worse, it will become a safety issue.

Wil let y'all know how it goes.

Similar problem to Daviet on my 2023 XC60 Recharge purchased last month. Windshield looks like it was in a sandstorm. I tried cleaning it to no avail. Going to take it to the dealer to be looked at. I feel like my paint has swirling in it too that should not be there on a new car.

No luck with the dealer so far. Left several messages with the service department. Will continue to call as I do expect that this issue should be resolved. Also, had some small paint swirls but was able to resolve them with some Nu Finish. Let me know how you do.
