Does polestar increase horse power for the recharge version?
I've been looking at the doc from volvo: Polestar Performance Optimisation - XC90 2023 - Volvo Cars Accessories

it doesn't mention anything about horse power. Went to the dealership and talked to two sales, one said that the pole star in 2023 recharge doesn't add any more horse power (so just 455) but instead it improves handling. The other says it adds 30 horsepower.

No "peak" horsepower increase, but the area under the curve should be increased. And they gloss over the "Dynamic" effect which is the ISG assisting the ICE under launch, I can tell it happens, but they don't list it as part of the "Power" numbers, because it is momentary, maybe 10 seconds at a time or something.

 

Just had mine done (FOC by dealer as part of purchase) but as above, no power increase

 

ah sad.... but it makes the car accelerates faster at least

 

Shift improvements for the transmission are noticeable too...
