I just wanted to share the details of my V60 Polestar order. I initially ordered in July of this year, and the order was entered but not allocated/accepted by Volvo. My order was finally accepted on December 23rd and is scheduled for production in early April. It has an early March order lock date; it's a '23 model. Now I just have to decide between White, Thunder and Silver Dawn. Any input appreciated!
Thunder Grey is very blue is certain light. You have to like it. Very nice that you can choose at time of acceptance.

the dealer I have my order through told me they have an allocation that hasn't been reserved yet. I also did some googling and Volvo in Ramsey NJ looks like they have a v60 polestar on the lot according to the website but I haven't called them about it - if you want to travel or ship
I spoke to that dealer last week. It’s been on the floor for two months. I’m going to pass by tomorrow evening and I’ll check it out. Test drive it if I can. I’m into my current vehicle until end of 2023, so I’m not buying now. But a test drive would be nice, to see if I really want a V60 PE.

My first time stepping into one at the Ramsey dealer. Very nice. Would suit me fine.

It didn’t sell for $10,000 above asking. Dealer was asking $5000 over and made a deal for $2500 over, with someone in California.

Feeling sad I didn’t get to test drive. Missed the opportunity by just one day. C’est la vie.

Yeah, I wasn't thrilled about that, but it worked out. I was very cautious, didn't push it at all, took it very slow, used the AWD mode a lot, and turned off the lane keeping aid. Didn't have any traction issues and luckily the other drivers I encountered were sensible and driving well too. Snow accumulation was maybe about an inch, but I was able to go thru all the previous tire tracks which helped. I tried to adjust my route to avoid the worst of the storm, but my timing was off.

Now that I'm back in CA, I'm gonna probably hang onto the tires thru the summer and then switch them in fall for some proper all-weathers.
Look into CrossClimate 2’s. They’ve been amazing in the winter and quiet.
