I received an update on my v60 PSE order from my dealer today--> Volvo has shown them an order for my car, but they (Volvo Cars in Sweded) have not approved it yet.
so some movement forward, but a long ways away

You seem to know a lot, so is this no more that just acknowledgement of the request for a car? Previously, the dealer had received no reply at all (My request and deposit dates back to late june), is this really no movement? I am just trying to understand if I am try to swim upstream here and should move on.

My dealer just called to confirm my allocation has been accepted. ETA of March/April 2023. He received two allocations and I am #1 on the list (with a small deposit). Another dealer that I had sent out a request to this summer reach out today to say they have an allocation and was willing to offer it to me for a $10k mark up over sticker . . .

My dealer called and informed me that a V60 PSE matching my order has landed in at the Baltimore Port and is available.
He has secured it for me and I should now have it by the end of the month. I have been without a car . . .
Unfortunately, it doesn't sound like it helps with tax breaks though

I signed up for a price when I got my allocation. I get it, but probably am in not much of a position to expect negotiations. If I were on the other side, I would say no.

Assuming my purchase of my happened upon v60 goes through Saturday, which it should as it was delivered to my dealer today, I can also put someone In Touch with my dealer as he said my original allocation is still locked in.
