2022 V90 steering firmness

Yes, in my 2018 V90 the difference between the settings is very small to the point of almost being none existant. If you really try hard you might be able to discern a difference. I ended up leaving it on firm because that sounds better!

My V40 CC is much firmer than either setting in the V90

was told at delivery that that was something I would only notice at high speed- not sure what exactly they consider "high speed"

2021 Volvo XC90 and it used to loose but now it is firm all the time. I'm going to see what the dealer says.
