2020 S60 Driver profiles

Hello,
Anyone know how to delete driver profiles on a 2020 Volvo S60? I had my 10K service checkout yesterday at the Volvo dealership, and the guys who updated the software put a couple of new drivers profile to test the system and they never deleted them. I tried to delete those profiles without any luck. I have no idea how to delete those. Can anyone help me out please? Thanks a lot!

Factory reset is likely the only way. I am not sure if the dealer’s service center has options.

BTW: With early SPA MY16-17 when driver profile was eventually released, there was an ability to save and copy a driver profile to a USB memory stick. Not that it matters, that functionality was removed (or moved) with updates around ~MY18

That is great info. I never explored the factory reset to understand that there is a submenu with a narrower reset option.

So the process would be to make active "the profile that you want to delete" in order to remove it?

If you look at Avboden's Post 3 and mine together, try to pick your service person's profile and make it active, once active, see if it let's you reset / delete the active profile. That's my reading of post 3, but like you, I have never tried it.

@matt_FL_2018 did you ever fully resolve this? I'm having the same issue with my 2020 V60. I just discovered some crazy "Profile 3" that must have been created during service.

Did you test if "Select Reset Personal Settings for active profile" actually permanently deletes the profile without resetting anything else? I found the instructions for this in the manual, but it's not clear if it simply resets the profile to factory defaults, or actually deletes it.

Just in case anyone stumbles on this thread, here is the response direct from Volvo support. Sensus software has no way to delete profiles. (there is a delete feature for older cars with the Google software)

"For Sensus vehicles a complete factory reset is needed to delete the profile. Unfortunately by doing so it will also delete all other profiles and user information that was programmed into the vehicle."
