2015 V60R Brakes on a 2012 S60 T5

Hello, I was wondering if R-type front brakes (calipers/rotors) from a 2015 V60R would fit on my 2012 S60 T5, considering I have 18" wheels? Does anyone have any experience with this? Any brackets, spacers or cutting of guard required? Bolt on by chance..:)

Could I do just R brakes in the front and leave the back stock?

Did some searches and couldn't come up with a definitive example of this situation.

Any guidance would be appreciated. I am a car guy but a volvo s60 newb.

Thanks again.

Yes, you can do that provided you have at least 18" wheels.

Thanks for the replies - this helps. I know someone who is upgrading his R type parts so I was hoping to upgrade my vehicle with his leftovers, even though mine is a T5. These include brakes, suspension. Debating on if the benefits are worth the effort.

The R-Design had the larger brakes added in 2013 model year and they are the same
brakes as the V8 XC90 models. So it should be bolt-on.
Same as S80 V8 models as well.

Basically you need the 336mm setup instead of the 316mm setup. That calls for new caliper and rotor, and maybe a caliper bracket? Pads are actually the same.
