I have a 2014 s60 T5 with about 101,000 miles I recently got a code p0016 took it to the steelership I mean dealership the mechanic said it was the CVVT Solenoid so I paid $200.00 for part and laber. I got a call from the dealer telling me that the car still has the code P0016. They recommend me to replace the CVVT Hub this is from the intake cam I asked will this fix the problem they said most likely yes. So I asked how much would it cost me they quoted me at around $760.00. I said No! It’s to much money for something that they are not sure if it will fox the problem. So today I decided to look at my timing belt I’ll post pics later it does not look that bad but it’s pretty cracked and some what worn out from the teeth. Any idea what could be causing this code ? I also disconnected the CVVT to see if the engine did anything while at idle and it didn’t do anything sounded normal. I noticed that when leaving from stop the car feels a little underpowered. Please help guys thanks.

Not positive, but I think that if your cam skipped a tooth due to a worn belt, it might explain the P0016 code. Ask your mechanic or service advisor about that. At any rate, you've got some serious issues there (replace the belt and rollers at a minimum).
I would hope there are procedures for pinpointing the cause of the code (advance mechanism, skipped tooth, sensor, etc.). Inquire about this as well. They should be able to provide a clear answer.
You're gonna have to get it fixed. Until that code is cleared, the car's value is essentially $0, and depending on the state, you may not be able to get your tags renewed.
