Hi!

Finally, 6 weeks since placing an order, our new XC60 is on the boat and left Southampton earlier today.
Got a VIN from my dealer only last night, when a car has been on a boat for 2 days already. :)

It is expected to arrive Baltimore on Sept 1st, so I expect it to be here 2-3 wks later.
Now a stupid question.
Anything I need/should do besides starting to look into trade in, insurance and financing options ahead of picking up my new toy? (Disclaimer: never ordered a car before, so this is a whole new and exciting experience for me)

Also, a question for those driving in a regions with real winter :) Are you happy with OEM tires? I wonder if i need to put winter tires on our new car. I saw a huge difference in how car candles with all our previous car after I put winter tires.

Thank you all for your insights.

P.S. Promise to post picture after I pick her up...

I had NO problems going through 24+" snow (blizzard of winter 2009/2010 in DC) in a 2010 XC60 T6 with the OE tires. You will be fine.
