I have a customer who just purchased a 2012 XC70 - he has mobility issues and would like to lower the XC70 to make it better to move from wheel chair to drivers seat - any thoughts

Hi Larry,
There are a couple options:
1) 2010 V70 R-Design springs and shocks. This will give him a lower ride height along with OEM ride quality. I don't know if H&R or Eibach make lowering springs for the 3rd generation V70. If the XC has rear Nivomat shocks, there may be a similar Nivomat for the V70 R-Design or a standard shock that bolts in place.
2) Heico lowering springs: http://www.heicosportivna.com/h7620802sportspringkits80iifwd.aspx
3) Heico springs & shocks: http://www.heicosportivna.com/heicosportivsportspringpackagev7032l-2-1.aspx
4) A set S80 AWD springs.
