It's been raining kinda hard in southern california lately. My 2012 S60 was sitting in the driveway unused for about a month. While the car was parked, its horn went off for what seemed like 40 minutes straight. Since then, the horn no longer works. The car also has water pooled up in the footwell of the rear seat behind the driver. However, the sunroof drains do not seem to be obstructed. I think the water leak is also somehow affecting the doors. For a long time now, there was this extra condensation around the area where the door panels cover the car's body (where the volvo sign is). Any idea what could be going on? Could a water leak somehow cause the horn failure or are these just two coincidental problems?

Sounds like a water leak contacted the wiring somewhere in the car, shorting something out which probably caused the horn to sound in the first place
