2011 S60 T6 suspension questions

Hello,

I wanted to get some ideas/feedback for lowering my S60 T6. I haven't spent a ton of time looking into it, but I have found Heico lowering springs for sale as well as others but definitely don't want my S60 to be extremely low or in other words, looking like it's extremely changed from stock.

Somewhere in the area of what Heico did to the T6 is where I'd like to go I think -

But, here's what I've got so far. I put on a few cosmetic things to it, the IPD silver accent pack, a polestar badge, black grille, mudflaps, R design rear diffuser and the Ferrita catback exhaust. Just enough to make it look a little far from stock, but subtle at most. (pardon some bad picture quality - blame the phone not the kid behind the camera ;) )

Now, I was looking at two different things as far as the Heico sport suspension goes. First being the full kit which includes coil overs as well as the springs ( http://www.vivaperformance.com/heico-sport-suspension-kit-s60-v60-t6/ ) but I'd rather just buy the springs from Viva Performance and spend $1,000 cheaper. Does anyone know if that would provide the same result/look as the full kit from Heico? I'm running on the stock 18" T6 wheels as well (not quite sure if all the Heico cars have 19" wheels).

Thanks for any feedback / suggestions! Glad to finally get pictures of my S60 up here!

The car is done! Sorry for such a delay, I've been busy and lazy with getting around to sharing the car.

Here are the changes:
New 2011 S60 R Design front bumper & Heico Sport Suspension

I'm extremely impressed with the car and how it handles. A few weeks ago, I met up with a friend and his girlfriend on Independence Pass, CO.. probably the most beautiful place I've ever been to. All of these pictures are from that day, and what an extremely good way to test out the new sport suspension. Heico really did a great job with this kit, I actually prefer the ride to the stock suspension. Bumps aren't too harsh, and the car has so much confidence on corners. What surprised me the most was how planted the car became on the straights between curves on acceleration, and acceleration itself seems quicker from a standstill (I guess less weight shifted aft when accelerating -duh).
Most of all, I'm in love with the look of the car now. The reason I didn't buy H&R or Eibach springs was mostly because I wanted a full pairing of struts and shocks with the springs but also because Heico looked to be the most subtle of the 1" drop options. Add the R Design front bumper into the mix, honestly, pictures don't do the car much justice. I have to thank Connor and George at Viva Performance helping me with shipping the front bumper. Caspian Blue Metallic wasn't available on R Design cars in the U.S in 2011, so the fact I was able to get one that matched was pretty sweet. I've always been a Viva customer, and that's why, they know their stuff and want to understand what you're going to do to your car.

I also made an instagram account for my car - @1bluemoose with the goal of making most posts kind of like a blog of my car, and I'm having a lot of fun with it so far :D

Anyways, here are the pictures. Have a great day!

Short answer is I'm not sure. I haven't bought spacers at all so the car sits the same camber wise, if that answers your question.

The front looks very good with the R-Design bumper but that second to last shot with the
three quarter rear view looks fantastic! (Gravel road and great background, too.)

These are very good touring cars especially on a fun mountain pass.

P.S. R_Design launched in 2012 so sounds like they had to go up later in the model years
to find the front bumper parts for a 2011 -- good to know that is doable.

Ah, now I know, thanks! Thankfully it fit!! :D

It really was and is a joy on mountain roads, and the car is so comfortable interior wise that it makes it so much better!

It does look great! I?d love to see some additional shots from the side and front 3/4 view.

As for the plate requirement, it is required in many but not all states in the US. A lot of places won?t allow you to pass the annual inspection without it, and you can get ticketed without a plate even if you manage to pass inspection. Lots of people take their chances and run without one, however.

I run a front plate, much as I?d rather do without. I have enough points on my license that I don?t want to risk further run-ins with the law, especially seeing as I?m lowish and running an ?extra legal? state of window tint.
