I'm looking to replace the OE suspension and would really like to get some feedback. The only upgrade on the vehicle now is the Polestar chip - which is great - but suspension is original (70K) and I'm looking at replacement that will enhance performance. But I don't want to increase harshness for everyday. Stock 17' Spartacus wheels. Looking at options on Viva -- Bilstein coilovers - B12, B14, B16? Koni/HR? Any suggestions / experience / advice?

Thanks!

Yeah. If you go coilovers you will not be happy in terms of damping, since they are all going to be more harsh than stock. Really, the rear shocks are probably the only thing that's worn. The front struts seem to last at least 100K, in my experience.

I'm interested in doing something similar on my C30 too.
One comment about the Eibach springs - I once drove a C30 with the stock shocks/struts, and Eibach lowering springs, and it was significantly firmer than stock.
Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if you replaced the shocks/struts with something decent like Bilstein B8?
