Anyone know if the '09 S40 grille will fit on the earlier models ('05-'07)? I think it would be a nice update. Evolve grilles are nice too, but always been more a fan of a stock appearance myself. Also looking to get the updated look on the trunk "Volvo" emblem. Does the emblem itself come with the letters already spaced (like on contact paper), or do you have to do it yourself? Thanks

the newer facelift grille won't fit... the cars have a slightly different front bumper cover. the grille on the newer cars is a little bit bigger in size.
so, the alternatives that you have are modding your stock grill in a way that fits your taste, or buy an aftermarket one (heico, evolvo, dubstop... etc)

I separated the VOLVO on the trunk myself, it looks just like it and is very easy.

I just measured them equally apart, so I pretty much just eyeball'd it.
