Stopped by the Volvo dealership this past weekend to look at the new I6 engine in the XC90 and also to see the new C70.
Noticed a few changes in the XC90 that have been mentioned, i.e. chrome trim on the liftgate, sidemarker turn signals in the sideview mirrors, chrome accent rings on the climate control temperature knobs...
One thing I noticed which I don't remember being mentioned is that their is some kind of grid in the rear side windows in the cargo and 3rd row area. I commented to the salesmen about the new defroster grid, and he said he thought it was an antennae array since their were still air vents at the windows. Any 2007 owner's know their real purpose?

Re: 2007 XC90 Question (dachshund2)

I don't have an 07, but it probably is an antenna array like many other car makers do. I guess all the complaining about poor reception caused them to go to a dual diversity antenna (radio selects which antenna has the stronger signal), or maybe it is just ones in the window.
