Hello...wondering if anyone can help me with this. I installed a rear camera in my XC70 and plugged the camera's power wire into fuse position 1 on the rear fuse box. I wanted to have the camera on when in reverse and also when driving forward so that's why I didn't connect it to the backup lights wire (which is blue).<p>Anyway, it worked fine however I've gotten a few dead batteries this week and began to wonder if the camera was staying on after the car was shut off. My manual says that fuse position #1 is for the backup lights so it seems like it's a switched power connection. Also, I doubt the camera uses much power, but I just wanted to make sure that's not the culprit.<p>Anyway, if anyone knows whether powering the camera via fuse 1 would still draw power when the car is off I'd like to know.<p>thanks,<p>'m

Re: 2007 XC70 Fuse #1 - Battery Drain? (meshugy)

Have you tried to check it with a vom when the car is off?
