Hi there, first post in this section. I was fiddling around with the centre console in my parents '08 XC70 ('07 shape), and at the rear of the centre console I found a round multi-pin plug concealed behind the lift up drink holder. There is nothing connected to it currently. Any thoughts on what it could be for? It only has a 3.5mm aux port at the moment into the HU850 head unit.

It looks a bit like an old s-video connector but slightly different.

Any ideas welcome, and I can photograph it if anyone's interested.

Cheers,

Richard

In my days as a car audio installer, those "S-Video" looking plugs were often for CD changers.

I did wonder if it could be for the cd changer option, and it looks a little like the Grom one too. I thought the optional disc changer was located in the boot/trunk though?

Cheers for the input guys.
