I have a passion Red 2007 Volvo S60 T5 with M66 manual transmission, 105k miles. Timing kit done. It has a rebuilt title, body isnt showroom quality, but mechanically sound. I replaced the struts with ebay struts that are pretty much trash lol. Anyway I'm considering parting out or selling as a whole. What do you guys think?

fix it up some and sell it as a whole if it runs well mechanically. P2 T5 M66 cars are few and far between.

It doesnt look bad by any means, but the front bumper has some chips and a couple runs on it. It has active headlights as well, really the only thing it needs is struts. If anybody wants to buy it I'm located in lexington, ky.

Struts are easy, buy the whole replacement and install it on a Saturday. That car is worth decent money even with a rebuilt title. If I didn't throw out my 80k mile ones I would've just given them to you.

I used to go to UK a year or so ago before losing my scholarship (long story) and I think I've seen you around! I also have an 06 T5M, and have had to replace the struts a couple of times for various reasons. If you can afford the new struts and can wait until the weekend of December 20, I'll be in town and can help you out if you want, just let me know! Alternatively if you decide to part it out, I have a few hard to find odds and ends that I would be interested in taking off your hands... Either way shoot me a PM!

That sounds like a decent car to me. Rare spec, low mileage... is the bumper the only exterior panel with damage? Throw up some pics.

Detroit Axle has a front suspension kit pre-assembled for cheap that will at least make the car ride properly, take 90 minutes to throw them on, then at the very least you’ve got a car that could be sold at a good price.

Send me direct message and we can talk about parts.

I'll try to figure out how to post pictures I'm still relatively new to posting in forums. The car has some regular wear on it, I wouldnt say it looks bad or anything like that.

I'd much rather sell it, but seeing as I havent gotten many bites on facebook or craigslist I'll try posting it here.

What is the asking price? Target your ad here on the classified forum. Also, join a few FB Volvo groups and advertise there. Try Volvospeed for sale group.

That's probably fair. Not really in the market for myself but I know plenty who would be interested.

Unfortunately unless its one of us S60 M66 nuts, its just a 6 speed volvo to anyone who doesnt know its a rare one. But 4k for the mileage is worth it..

Re-Volv (volvo site) is selling one with similar mileage for like 8k I think.

yyvasilyuk,

Late model year, so all the factory kinks are worked out, rare trans option, Passion Red. Really the only issue is the title. Not sure how KY approaches this, but some states don't want anything that's ever been hit to be back on the road. If this thing was out west, you'd have no problem. In AZ, it takes almost nothing to put a repaired car back on the road. With the light interior and full tint, this says TX, AZ or NV all over it. What about Bring-a-Trailer? (Get some hard facts on how rare it is) You need to tap 2 markets - Volvo nuts and MT lovers. The regular people have no appreciation for what you have.
BTW, can't say I'm interested as I already have an MT for me and the wife won't go back to one because of her knee.
