Volvo has released additional info on the U.S. lineup other than the XC90 stuff that's already been online.<p>Most of the changes involve standard DSTC for all models and added audio options such as Sirius for the S40/V50/C70/XC90 vehicles as well as a few package option changes. The puddle lights have been deleted for all models.<p>*****************************************<p>Here's the basic breakdown:<p>C70 -<p>Availability of keyless drive and Sirius sat radio starting with Oct. 2006 production.<p>Auxilary input for MP3 and other source material for sound system. MP3 playback from the in-dash CD changer.<p>Locking storage and valet locking added to the rear storage compartments.<p>S40/V50 -<p>T5 FWD is now standard with Geartronic. <p>Body styling package added to the 2.4i variants (must be ordered with the sport package). T5 FWD sport package deleted, but the 17" Sagitta and 17" Zaurak alloys are now seperate options. <p>The T5 dynamic nice guy trim package adds a sport steering wheel and gearshift knob and comes now in all colors except electric silver.<p>The convenience package is gone for both versions but the auto-dim mirror/compass and homelink are now part of the T5 premium package. Booster cushions and IAQS deleted as options.<p>There is a more premium overhead console.<p>Flint grey has been replaced by titanium grey.<p><br>S60 - <p>Tire pressure monitoring in standard. <p>Modified front bumper, outside side mirrors, and aluminum inserts on stalks and steering wheel switches.<p>T5 adds a "watch dial" instrument cluster, as well as "sport" versions of the steering wheel, gearshift knob, handbrake grip, and floor mats.<p>S60R adds the grocery bag holder, sunglass holder, and rear mirror compass as standard.<p>The 2.5T sport package is repriced for 2007 and adds the Dolby 6CD audio.<p>Active bixenons, like the XC90, are available.<p>17" Tucana chrome alloys added for T5.<p>Passion red added to 2.5T/T5 and solid black is deleted (!).<p><br>V70 -<p>The interior trim changes same as on the S60.<p>Convenience package on 2.4/2.5T now includes the booster seats, and auto-dim mirror with compass.<p>Run flat and third row seat are deleted.<p>Dual screen entertainment (RSE) and active bixenons (2.5T only) are available options.<p>XC70 -<p>New Xenia 16" alloys, tire pressure standard, new exterior mirrors.<p>Active bixenons and RSE added as options.<p>Convenience package includes the watchdial instruments and auto-dim mirror/compass.<p>17" Oreander alloys are optional.<p><br>XC90 -<p>3.2L inline 6 and 6-speed auto transmission replaces 2.5T.<p>Tire pressure and leather shift knob, plus bright trim on interior. Rain sensor now in climate package.<p>Rear audio headphone outlets deleted along with booster seat from 5-passenger version.<p>Touring package on V8 adds the new Camulus 18" alloys, Sapeli wood trim and steering wheel.<p>Dynaudio sound available on the V8 along with sovereign hide chestnut brown soft leather. The V8 will have aluminum roof rails, color coordinated wheel arches, and watchdial instruments.<p>BLIS, active bixenons, and 18" Camulus alloys available as separate options.<p>Shadow blue replaces lunar gold on the 3.2 version only.<p>Sirius sat prep available as an option.<p>****************************************<br>SOURCE: Steve from VVSPY.COM
