Got the typical anti-skid message so brought the car in to the dealer. They diagnosed the problem and said the DEM Pump needs replacement. Based on my research on these forums and speaking with this mechanic it seems his diagnosis is accurate. He stated the DEM still has power and the AWD works intermittently. He said a buildup of oil sludge can cause the pump to slow or stop altogether. I'm a first time Volvo owner and would like to make the repair myself. Does this diagnosis seem accurate?
It appears the DEM pump can't be removed with the damper in place. Can anyone describe the process for the DEM Pump removal? Does the AOC fluid need to be drained before pump removal? Suggested location where DEM Pump and AOC fluid can be purchased?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
