My new (to me) ride.

2006 M66 with 180k
Passion Red over Gobi. Exterior is near-mint. Interior very good.
Factory sub and Nav (that I will never use).

Most major maintenance has been done.
I traded my 94 855 TURBO + $$ for it; met the seller half-way between NY and NC on I-81, he took the 855 back to NC.

When I pulled her into the garage for the first time after the ride back from pick-up:

At home with her little sister (big brother (XC60) got kicked outside!) :

I plan to preemptively change the collar gear to PDV's high strength, swap out the interior lights for LEDs, and otherwise just keep it well maintained and DRIVE it!

FUN! Another passion P2VR. Love the tag!
There's another passion m66 VR up there somewhere, with atacama. It sold out from under me when I started looking hard.

...
The tag was on the 850...it probably "fit" that car better, but...I do like it, so I think I'll keep it on this one too, although it's not really a brick like the older ones...

Here's a better shot of the rear-end, just prior to departure on our Thanksgiving road trip to the Lehigh Valley of PA.

The tag is cool enough that you should get one of these. That way, your dash stays clean and scratch free.

Nice ride! I'm always a sucker for Passion Red as well. Are you a fellow UofS alum?? Go Royals!

Good eye!

No, it's there. I think these wheels were plasti-dipped at some point, and there's a lug that still has the black plastic on it. Definitely appears in the pics to be missing!

New sticker arrived this weekend and takes up residence alongside my Kidney Cancer Awareness orange ribbon.
March is Kidney Cancer Awareness Month. I am currently dealing with Stage-IV Kidney Cancer, but am doing well right now. My wife calls the VR my 'cancer-life crisis'. Sorta like a mid-life crisis I guess. :)
