Ok, I'm tired of looking at it just sit outside my house....price dropped. Car has a few more miles on it now, so I updated the mileage as well. Make me an offer.

This day has come too soon. My beloved 2006 V70R GT is now for sale. She has been meticulously maintained and is in very good condition overall. I bought it in June of 2010 with 58,xxx miles on it from a Stadel Motors in PA. Currently, it has 120,xxx miles on it, and it is literally ALL highway miles from me being a real estate agent. If you want proof of this, please ask, I have documented mileage for tax purposes. The car is mainly just sitting right now, so the mileage will not increase much, if at all.

Standard Equipment...
-Electric Silver Exterior
-Gobi Interior
-6 Speed Automatic
-17” Pegasus Wheels
-HU-850 Radio and 6 Disk CD player
-Dual Power Seats
-OEM Rear Cargo area cover
-2 Key Fobs

The oil has been changed according to the onboard maintenance minder’s intervals, with only full synthetic oil and OEM Mahle filters. These are not listed on the below maintenance list because I can not find my list of oil changes for the life of me. I had been keeping full record of it, but I have no idea where my small notebook went on it all.

When I first bought it, it had a 100k warranty, so the items replaced before that mark were done under warranty, and others after were done out of pocket. Below is a list of everything I have done with the car, along with the approximate miles it was done at. Dealer work was done either at Don Beyer Volvo of Falls Church, VA, at Koons Volvo of Reisterstown, MD, or Herb Gordon Volvo of Silver Spring, MD. If someone wants receipts or proof of purchases, I’m sure I can dig them up via my online banking, but we’ll cross that bridge only if necessary.

-New A/C Condenser 65,000
-Full freon charge at 65,000
-1 New OEM passenger side strut hat 70,000
-4 New Rotors 90,000
-All New Hawk HPS Pads 90,000
-New ATE fluid 90,000
-IPD Stainless lines at 90,000
-Full Volvo “120,000 mile service” (including timing belt replacement) at 95,000
-4 New OEM struts 105,000
-New xc90 strut hats 105,000
-2 new OEM front control arms with new bushings 105,000
-Transmission fluid flush 115,000
-4 Brand New Kumho Ecsta 4X 235/45R-17 with an alignment 119,600

The suspension work was done by a local forum member Turbo16psi, his name is Todd and I’m sure if you want to talk to him about it, he’d be glad to confirm all of this info.

The only aftermarket part on the car is the black IPD front grill and I have to stock one as well which I’m including in the sale. Its really easy to change out. The rest of the car has been kept stock its entire life and all replacement parts are OEM.

Other items I’m including in my sales price are as follows...
-4 18x8 VST Monoblock wheels with Continental ContiSport DWS tires in 245/45-18 (tires have 40-50% life left). The wheels are painted a dark titanium color. One of the wheels has some rash from my own stupidity and all 4 have some paint chipping off inside the lug nut holes, but that isn’t very noticeable.
-Hardwired for an Escort Passport 9500 radar detector
-Rensi Front and Rear molded plastic floor mats from IPD
-OEM Gobi colored floor mats that are almost untouched
-Cargo area Weathertech molded plastic liner
-A few (2-3) Mahle oil filters (I‘ll have to look and see how many I have left)
-Volvo oil filter wrench
-JUST fully detailed, literally just a few miles ago, inside and out.

Full Disclosure....
-There are some scratches here and there. The car has been driven, so this is sort of expected.
-The front bumper has some scuffs near the bottom of the bumper lip.
-There is 1 tiny tear on the rear passenger side door leather near the window. See pics.
-There is some minor rash on a stock 17” Peg wheel.
-The HU-850 volume knob sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t. This hasn’t bothered me since I use the volume control on the steering wheel.
-I was in an accident around 90,000 miles with a large rock in the middle of the road in West Virginia. The rock destroyed the front passenger strut, tire, and wheel. This was replaced by my insurance with all OEM parts. This is NOT on the full AutoCheck printout I have but it could be on a CarFax, not sure. Either way, the fix was done properly and there is no issues with the car because of it.

Overall the car is in fantastic condition and you likely will not find another one in this good of shape, this amount of maintenance done to it, and very fresh suspension parts. The A/C blows ice cold, the interior is in great condition with no abnormal wear, never smoked in, and still as fast and fun to drive as the day I bought it.

I am located outside of Baltimore, MD on the west side of the county. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to ask. I may have forgotten something in this list, so don’t hesitate to ask about anything. Also, if you would like a specific picture of something, ask and I’ll try and get one asap.

EDIT - Asking $12,500.00 OBO for everything. I am well aware that this is over KBB value and it was done on purpose. The car is almost flawless and I’m including some big items in the sale. There is still a loan on the car, so we’ll have to work with Bank of America to pay it off and send the title, but from what I’ve read and heard, they are very, very good about this.

Feel free to PM or email me at [email protected].

Now, onto everyone’s favorite part....the pictures.....

Met the owner of the car, Brian, yesterday. Super nice guy, obviously an R enthusiast. Car showed very well with minimal wear for the age/miles, just typical light wear on the Gobi driver's seat and a small scuff on a bumper and a wheel or two.

Electric Silver on Gobi is very attractive in person, especially since this is such a nice example. Drove great, suspension was very tight. No warning messages or lights. No rattles, everything was as it should be.

If I hadn't bought my 2003 recently I'd probably be signing papers but not quite in the position to do this. If anyone is interested then by all means go ahead and check the car out, Brian is a stand-up guy and honest about the car.

Any questions that I can answer as an unbiased 3rd party PM me.

you might have better luck getting that loan paid down so no one has to take a bath with you on it. Asking above book implies showroom condition and I see two blemishes already in the photo below. Just sayin.

Just to clarify, I don't owe anything close to the sales price. The car is priced where it is because of how well it has been maintained, how good of shape its in, and its overall clean history. Plus, I'm including a $2,000 set of wheels/tires in with the sale.

If you can find a 06/07 V70R in this condition for less, by all means, please buy it. Please do not respond to my thread just because you feel its overpriced.

Also, did you notice I have "OBO" listed? I in no way think I'm getting my full asking price for the package....it is merely a starting point to begin some negotiating.

The car is in very very good condition, does it have a couple marks on it? Of course it does, it has 120k on it. However, as stated in the ad, these marks are very small and barely noticeable. I took the pictures I did to show some of those marks.

Please go troll someone else's thread.

Thanks for the advice inteller. But why don't I see you commenting on the other R's for sale that are priced even higher than mine with less history and even less maintenance? Please go comment in their threads.

All things being equal and if the car is"exceptional" than:

NADA says: $15,650
Edmunds says: $12,680
KBB says: $10,666

I'd say $13,000 seems fair minus $500 for a few dings and dents but then he's tossing in extra wheels so $12,500 seems very fair for the mileage.
