Hi - I have a new-to-me V70 - Pulls right - Had alignment performed at dealer, went to buddy's house, swapped tires (F to R), inspected brakes. Nothing obvious and none of the work changed the pull. It feels like ball joint/tie rod since it kinda comes and goes. I assumed the dealer would have tried to sell me a suspension fix if they found anything funky during the alignment. Maybe not?
Any other places to look that I might know about?
Also, had all fluids changed at dealer - I asked what they used (in the transmisson) all I could get out of 2 different people was "Volvo approved synthetic". Based on a charge of $159 for the flush, I can't believe it was 'Volvo' fluid. My fear is I got some recycled crap from the local lube rep. If anyone has an experience where dealers source their fluids, I'd like to go back to these guys with a little ammo.
Re: 2006 V70 T5 56K - Pulls Right (flatspot)

For the first question, a Volvo dealer could not get my alignment right, to remove pulling, but a Goodyear shop could. If there's nothing wrong with the ball joints or such, the front camber can be adjusted to counter the pull but it's not enough to put the car in a machine and to set the wheels into spec; it needs to be test driven.
Take it to a real mechanic instead of dealer.
If the transmission fluid was not 3309, you'll notice it soon enough...

This dealer is new to me since Penske and Volvo parted ways. My old Volvo dealer was great. These guys... sketchy. I needed to have the car run thru a dealer for the computer to make sure I'd gotten all the latest software etc. I figured I'd give them a shot. So far, they get a 'D'. I'm going back to my old dealer (now Audi) shop to have them look at it. Wasted time and money w/ the new guys.
