I'm nearing the lease on my 2006 s60 t5. only option is the climate package.
the car has been trouble free, driven about 20,000 miles over the last 3 years (16,000 miles under allowance).
BOA is offering buyout for $16,000, about $1000 discount from original buyout price. plus, I would be ending my lease 3 months early, saving $1200. interest rate is not so hot - 6% over 5 years.
what do you guys think? can I do better?

thats about what it would sell for on the private market.
the interest rate is actually fairly competitive for a 2006.
If you liked the car, buy it, if not, turn it back in.

by private market, do you mean private sale?
seems kinda cheap. edmunds lists private sale at $19,000.

I said REASONABLE, go for it.
You won't find another with 20K miles for that kind of money (if nice)!

Price seems good, if it's been trouble free and you like it, I say do it. Plus, those 3 months of lease payments go into your payments, which is a definite plus.
Not to mention you know how the car's been driven from day one. To go out and buy another T5, you may get one that some kid drove the balls off of and turned back in. That's worth at least something.

Re: (Rezin S60T5)

If your credit is good, search for your own financing. If you really like the car go for , if you are ready for something different or consider holding out for a 2010 S60 do that to.
