FS: 2006 S40 T5 -- Warranty to 75,000 miles or 4/2010 -- $14,500 in Alabama

Up for sale is my 2006 Volvo S40 T5 Auto with 57,800 miles. It has brand new tires (January 2009, 55k miles) and brand new rear brakes and rotors (installed 3/13/09 -- 57,795 miles). The engine air filter and wiper blades ($50 for these wiper blades!) were replaced on 3/13/09 as well. I have owned this vehicle for about a year now but have decided to get a different car that isn't quite as nice to help save some money.

Your name, and the best way to reach you: Matt, email at mattslyk _at_ gmail.com
Make: Volvo
Model: S40 T5
Year: 2006
Mileage: 57,800
Color: White
Transmission: Auto
Condition: Great! A few minor cosmetic blemishes only
Misc additional information: See the rest of the post
Location: Fort Rucker, AL
VIN: YV1MS682562194827

I have had zero mechanical problems with the vehicle since 39,000 miles when I got it. It has never been smoked in. Here are some of the options:

Leather seats
Power sunroof
HID Headlights*

*The HID headlights were added after by me, but they are 100% functioning properly and look awesome. Pretty rare to find an S40 with HID lights.

This car has had oil changes by dealers only since I purchased it. It currently has an after-market extended warranty to 75,000 miles or 4/2010, and this warranty is FULLY TRANSFERABLE to the new owner. There is a $50 transfer fee for the warranty, and a $200 deductible on all repairs. It is an after-market warranty administered by Prizm Administrative Solutions, Inc. It is called "Total Protection Plan" with "Supreme" coverage. It consistently gets 29-30 mpg highway and 25 mpg city.

The car was hit while parked in June 2008 in a parking lot on the passenger side. It was repaired by Wiregrass Body and Paint in Enterprise, AL in August 2008. There are damage pics in the full web album. The damage was very minor and 100% cosmetic. Both door skins were replaced and repainted. Also, the driver side of the rear bumper is slightly out of alignment. This happened before I got the car, and is very minor. It looks like it may have been bumped in a parking lot -- the pictures show this. The driver's side fog light cover is broken, but the fog light still works fine.

If you have any questions or want to look at it, please don't hesitate to email me at mattslyk _at_ gmail.com or call or text me on my cell phone -- 319-504-6035. Thanks for looking!
