Offered for sale is my trusty 7-seater 2005 Volvo XC90 AWD. I am a Volvo enthusiast, with this being my favorite one that I’ve owned over the years. I am sad to let this car go, but want to pick up a new project car and need the space.
The car is Crystal Green Metallic, and is loaded with the Premium Package (leather, auto dimming mirror, moonroof, power passenger seat, 6 disk CD changer) Climate Package Package (heated seats, headlight washers, rain sensing wipers), the coveted Versatility Package (3rd row AC, integrated booster seat in center, separate audio output for rear, self-leveling Nivomat rear suspension- it is not air suspension, far more reliable and a passive system), as well as bi-xenon headlights.
I am only the second owner of the car (vehicle history will show two prior owners as the PO transferred the title from his company to himself). Car will come with 3 original keys (2 main, 1 valet), and I even have the original order form for the car. It will also come with the original cargo cover (a rare part). The car is currently registered/insured, and I mostly use it for commutes between Chicago and Milwaukee. This car is ready to drive anywhere and has zero service lights on. I would trust it to drive me across the country tomorrow.
Some details about the car, as well as some pertinent maintenance history:
-187,xxx miles
-clean title
-Timing Belt service completed at 110k miles
-Car passed emissions testing just a few months ago, not due for a while
-regular oil changes w/ full synthetic (every 3k miles)
-4 new falken wildpeak AT3W tires (stock on jeep gladiator rubicon)
-Both outer tie rod ends recently replaced, driver inner changed (+ alignment)
-brake fluid recently bled
-Ball joints recently replaced
-Control arms recently replaced
-Sway bar end links recently replaced
-Air filter recently replaced
-Cabin air filter recently replaced
-Upper PCV breather hose recently replaced (ultimately decided to bypass PCV entirely)
-Hood struts recently replaced
-Trunk Struts recently replaced
-Front/rear wipers recently replaced
-Spark plugs, alternator have 20k miles on them
Upgrades (gauge cluster and steering wheel not pictured in all photos as they were just done);
-R design steering wheel (also have S60R steering wheel and original steering wheel/airbag)
-S60R blue gauge cluster dial upgrade with LED shroud
-radio/AC knobs upgraded with facelift versions w/ silver trim
-Car has a PA system installed (yes you read that right)
-Driver door rattle-proofed with foam lining
-PCV bypass
As with any older car, it has some quirks and features (listing everything I can think of for for full transparency):
-sticky trunk latch (common problem w/ easy fix if desired, part included)
-Alarm siren module needs battery (common problem w/ easy fix if you want to)
-Dings/scratches appropriate for its age
-Driver door speaker cover missing
-Rear passenger door has some rust due to broken window seal allowing water in (might replace seal before sale if I have time)
-CD changer does not work
I am asking $4800 OBO
