Hey guys i have a 2005 volvo s40 t5 fwd I bought with a bad timing belt and bent valves. so I went thru the top end new timing belt bought the cam and crank lock tools locked everything and installed the belt got everything back together and it’s throwing a cam/crank code. Since then I have bumped the cams a tooth each way but I haven’t been able to get the cam and crank code to go away. I’m starting to wonder if it is possible to have the cams degreed slightly to where it it’s not possible to set the timing there is no visible timing marks on my cam sprockets. Iv been driving the car as is for 2 years without any issues but I’d like to fix it while I have it apart to do some work on the motor mounts and cv axles so if anyone has any ideas I’m all ears. Thanks again hopefully we can get this sorted
