Am considering putting lowering springs on car,I have an s60 2.5t. Question is can stock suspension be used with lowering springs,say 1.2" ?

Short answer, yes, oem struts and mild lowering Springs work together.

Awd or fwd? That will affect options.

Yes, you should get an alignment after touching the suspension.

And our rear end is non adjustable, so, negative camber and negative toe can destroy tires. Approx. $150 for the rear camber kit from ipd(install at shop for $) , and approx. $175 for the rear toe adjustable kit (install at home) if these are needed.

I lowered my fwd on H&R Springs, camber was in the - 2 range, just last week lowered my awd on with the Eibach R kit and rear camber is - 3.5

The guesstimate is that'll give me about 6k miles until I need to replace tires, so I'm currently researching this topic heavily.

This could top $1k real quick, so I'm on the fence lol

So guess cool cost more by the day?!.
The more I look at it coilovers are the best option for lowering. CX racing has them for $ 675, bcs are $1000 and, kw are over $2000. The higher the cost the better the product
