I'm cross posting this, just incase I resolve the issue, it'll be easier for other people to find.
"I searched, found one post sort of related to this, but it never seemed to be resolved.
On the way to work, I was making boost at normal levels. On the way home, I noticed the car wasn't feeling as peppy as usual, so I floored it off a light, and my gauge was only reading around 4 psi.
Scanned, didn't get any codes. Max boost only ever reached 4 psi.
I can hear the turbo spooling up, from what I remember, just as loudly as usual. The wastegate still actuates, I can hear that too. No stuttering, no stalling. Vehicle feels fine through-out the entire RPM range. The only issue seems to be lower than normal boost.
TCV going maybe? I don't really even know where to begin. Help! "

That would be the PCV issue. The noise is from the faulty oil seperator/cracked upper hose. Take your car into the dealer and have it inspected, they should replace it under the extended warranty for free.

If that is indeed the problem, yes, the quicker you get it fixed, the better.
I got the gauge online. Its just a generic glow shift gauge. But it seems to work alright, the readings I'm getting from it match what I should be normally getting.

And, to cap this all off, (for now atleast....) I went ahead and drove my car awhile after this issue popped up. Made full boost. Nice and quick too. So I dunno, TCV still might be going, or something. Who knows.....

I took it for a drive last night, and it reacted normal. On my way to work this morning, it was boosting normal. Held around 8 psi under WOT.
So, I dunno.
