C'mon man, Canada? Couldn't you just locate it in a border state?

Haha - I haven't done an import from another country yet, just another state. That was a pain and it was only my Polestar, a young car. I can only imagine the extra hoops to jump through registering from another country.

But patience is a virtue and I'm sure working on it!

Ya no doubt. I believe the US has some importation laws that stipulate the car must be over 25 yrs? Not sure if that applies to nafta countries but I know from European countries it does?
Thanks for the reply 👍

Something like that, I've never looked into it too closely. I'm sure you will sell this fast for a good price regardless!

Unfortunately, a 2004 V70R for the Canadian market isn't on the list of non conforming cars eligible for import. Refer to page 20 of this doc from the NHTSA: Click here
what a shame.

If the car is an original Canadian car (Transport Canada maple leaf on the label) then should be legal and not difficult to import to US. I brought in my 98 S70 T5M SE (and 3 other vehicles...) when we moved from ON to WI a few years back. Some paperwork, time, and a few fees.
