I have a "new to me" 2004 S60R with ~128,xxx on it. It has the following error:

SRS-00F5 Belt buckle front right faulty signal

Before I go purchase a new seat belt buckle for the right side does anyone have any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance for your constructive input.

I would start checking wiring under the seat for damage.

You might also want to use some compressed air to blow all the crumbs and other debris out, perhaps even a little wd40 and compressed air into the switch mechanism if possible if its not the wiring.

I checked all the wiring before making this post. I like the idea of blowing out the buckle and cleaning out with WD40. I'll try that tomorrow.

Thanks for the input!

Blowing out the buckle with compressed air spraying it out with WD40 did not fix it. I'll try a new seat belt buckle and report back with if that fixed it or not.
