2004 Acura TSX
This is actually the new European Honda Accord, but it will be coming to here as the Acura TSX. The TSX name is unofficial, but it might stick.
This car will have a 2.4 liter i-VTEC four-cylinder making 200 hp and 163 lb ft of torque, mated to a 6-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic. No V6 is expected. The price should be about $27k for a fully loaded model.
It looks much better than the US Accord IMHO, and I think they will sell like hotcakes, maybe even better than the 3.2TL.

-Drew

It's certainly better than the Accord, but the back end is a little off. $27k is a lot to ask these days for a 4 banger without any sporting aspirations, but Acura will probably move a lot of them anyway.

I like that way better than the other accord pics. The current 4 banger accord is actually extremely economical and a much larger, plusher feeling car than the civic. Not to mention it doesn't feel totally week for a 150hp motor, actually revs nicely. Know a 5 speed in a area that a buddy owns and it a is a damb decent car. 200hp should move this cat nicely, not to the new Altimas power figure (240hp) but I bet it has a better long term value. I always will give the the accord top points for value, even though I hate the new look. This on the other hand isn't bad at all.
As far as what Europe market calls for, I know if I payed what they do for gas I would opt for a 2 cylinder version with 45hp

200hp yeah
164 lb/ft?
Another high revving economy car engine that won't come to life until 7000rpm
they're just making it 200hp to look nice, in real world driving it won't be that much better than the current 150hp engine.
