Ok so my volvo had klunking in the front both sides for a while then disappeared for a month completely and came back 100 times worse. When car rolls and hit the brake it hits like metal on metal. Not so much while driving and hitting potholes. But when I come to a stop from any speed it starts "klunking" again. And when I accelerate from 0mph. Bushings look intact, but when braking at low speed, control arms move (i think more than they should)I tightened all bolts and nuts at the bottom with a torque wrench. Tightened top bolts for struts. Replaced rotors front. What can it be? Bushings? Engine mounts are new. Anyone have a link how to replace stock bushings? From stock to polyurethane?

If you want poly go for it. You'll need a press, or use the old hacksaw method to get the old bushing out. Personally I'd go with new arms. They made it 10 years after all & you'll get fresh ball joints.
