2003 Toyota Corolla
The exterior looks nice and I think it is an improvement over the previous generations, but I still think that the Mazda Protege ES 2.0 looks best in this class. The new Corolla looks too much like an 'econobox'. Although, the leather and faux wood interior looks supurb, better than anything in this class of cars and probably built the best as well. Sort of like a mini Lexus. Although, I doubt the performance Corolla-S will be as good as the Nissan Sentra SE-R.

-Drew
[This message has been edited by InDy (edited 01-03-2002).]

I'm sorry, but this thing just looks so bad. It's one of the reasons I think Toyota is becoming the Oldsmobile of the Japanese car game.

Like most of Toyota's latest models, it just looks too tall and too skinny. I realize those kind of dimensions make for a roomier feel inside the car (lots of space over and around your head, but not so much around the hips), but it looks top-heavy and very un-sporty.
