I've always liked the Mister two's. Celicas are ok, nothing I've been excited about though.

Re: 2003 Toyota Celica GTS & MR2 Spyder (Carl Sims)

The only new bodystyle Celica I've seen that I liked is that yellow prototype that Stillen built using the old All-Trac AWD system and the CART inspired body kit. That thing was cool.
As for the MR2, I like what they're doing with it. I really like the min-boxster look of the thing. It needs different wheels though. I wonder if the Matrix uses the same bolt pattern / offset. That car has some very cool 17-inchers and some 17-inch or 16-inch steelies that might look cool painted silver and without hubcaps (sort of James Dean's 550 Spyder inspired).

Re: 2003 Toyota Celica GTS & MR2 Spyder ([email protected])

When I test drove them, I felt that both the Celica GTS and MR2 are fun to drive cars. The Celica really loves to rev and the MR2 was the first mid-engined car that I have ever driven. The steering is very sharp and it handles great. The styling though of the Celica leaves a lot to be desired.
On the other hand the MR2 with TRD package looks tight!
-Drew

I test drove a 6-speed Celica GT-S once. Left the dealer and never looked back
However, I do have to give them some credit on the commercials for the Action Package. You know, the ones that show it parked and they say "Hey, it looks fast"
